Busy Sunday Coming Up

If you’re going to be in the Portland area on Sunday, you’ll have three chances to meet me and hear some stories. I’ll be at Green Bean Books from 11:00 to noon.  From noon to 4:00 I’ll be down at the Historical Society autographing with lots of other Oregon authors. That’s always a great event. You should make it a point to come by if you can. Books make great gifts. Autographed books are even better. You can do all your Holiday shopping at once.

At 4:30, to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah, I’ll be at the menorah lighting ceremony at Director Park. That’s close to the Historical Society, so I plan to walk over. I’ll probably be reading a Hanukkah story. How about Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins. I think that’s a good choice, considering that the first draft of the story was written only a few blocks south at the School of Education building on the Portland State Campus. (The School of Business has taken over that spot. I still think they should put up a plaque. Maybe a statue out front with me surrounded by goblins?)

See you on Sunday!
